The Snake Island Muskies were established in 2007, competing in the Three Nations Senior Lacrosse League that same year. Snake Island is situated in the channel of the St. Lawrence River and this very small Island serves as a landmark where Ontario, Quebec and the State of New York jurisdictions connect within the Mohawk Territory. The Snake Island Muskies have won the Three Nations Senior Lacrosse League championship seven times since the teams' inception in 2007. In 2022, former Muskies players, Kariwate Mitchell and Josh “Shooter” Sanderson returned to Snake Island to share coaching and management duties in hopes of competing at the Canadian National Championships. The Muskies organization are grateful for the opportunity to play in this year's Presidents Cup and look forward to playing some exciting lacrosse that will be entertaining to all lacrosse fans, and the Creator.
